Oh, great. Another “Best Of” social media list, right? We’re familiar with how those “lists” go. Most social media lists have the same people recycled over and over again and are typically a popularity contest or some pay-to-play promotion that puts startups or marketing/PR agencies in the forefront of various media channels. However, this list was intended to mention notable leaders in social media who are on the rise in their respective fields. Composed of organic peer recommendations (and not some paid Twitter advertisement), Businesses Grow’s list wanted to give a little shine to those social media marketing professionals out there who are making waves and haven’t quite gotten the notoriety they deserve.
To comprise the list, social media superstars came together to come up with their recommendations of stars on the rise. Some of the panelists that contributed to the selection of honorees included Michael Brenner (SAP); Gini Dietrich (Arment Dietrich); Jason Falls (Cafe Press); Ann Handley (MarketingProfs); Simon J. Hughes (Microsoft); Shelly Kramer (V3 Marketing); Lee Odden (TopRank Marketing); Ted Rubin (Brand Innovators); Michael Stelzner (Social Media Examiner); Christopher Penn (SHIFT Communications); Joe Pulizzi (Content Marketing Institute); Mari Smith (Mari Smith Consulting) and many more!
Out of the 70 people selected on the list to represent “The Future Gurus” of social media marketing, one of them was Nao Media founder, Chris Craft.
Nao Media is beyond proud of our Chris Craft for his accomplishment in rocking the world of social media/content marketing, the success of his book O.P.E.N. Routine and being recognized as one to watch in the industry.
