2017: Goals from the heart of Chris Craft, our founder

Sharing is caring!

Commit your work to The Lord!

Hi. Now that 2017 is here, I want to give you a glimpse into my heart and vision for Nao Media.

Our company mission is still the same: We are ambassadors for the power of quality content.

Our company vision is the same as well: To inspire businesses to operate with Christian values unashamedly.

Thanks to God, we were able to see our mission and vision manifest in key ways in 2016. We introduced ourselves as authoritative ambassadors for written content and content marketing in the real estate industry. We also unashamedly put God first in our published content and various podcast appearances last year. I’m happy to say that the feedback that we received on all of this was positive! All of this was made possible with the publishing of The Foundation: Branding for Successful Real Estate Professionals last June. We were also able to launch the beta business model for Skrybe (bulk blogging for clients) as a result of The Foundation’s success.

The Heart

I pray that The Lord blesses us with the opportunity to boldly represent him even more in the marketplace in 2017. This is what’s on my heart for Nao Media. We can accomplish this through prayer, study, connecting with more people, wise hiring, doing better marketing, publishing more rich content, producing and appearing on more podcasts and shows, serving more customers, serving our community, and giving a portion of our time, talents and money to the Church. It sounds like a lot but anything is possible with God.

The Vision

In order to accomplish everything mentioned above, a vision and a plan are needed. There also has to be a simple path for achieving it all. The first item in the vision is the desire to live and operate Nao Media within God’s will. The second and third items in the vision are another Nao Media book project and the launching of a podcast produced by Nao Media. Accomplishing these three goals will lead to or bring about all that’s on my heart for Nao Media — Lord willing.

I’ll leave you with four Proverbs about goal-setting and planning so you (and me) can meditate on a biblical perspective for business planning:

“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” Proverbs 16:3

“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” Proverbs 16:9

“Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.” Proverbs 19:21

“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty.” Proverbs 21:5

2017 should be a fun business year. Please pray for the things on my heart and in my vision to be realized in God’s timing. God bless!
