2015 is OUR year. Sure, last year was great, but we really feel that this year will be our most successful and productive year yet. 2014 ended on a high note with great teamwork rhythm, new business, a new website, stronger collective faith, and a grittier work ethic. 2014’s progress really has us excited about all the promise of 2015.
When a new year comes around, it’s fairly typical for people to create a to-do list of things or resolutions to complete before that year expires. Resolutions are a great motivator to keep people focused and bring about positive changes, however, we at Nao Media won’t be making any for 2015. With this new year, we will be the same Nao Media. We will continue to embrace new challenges, celebrate wins and learn from our losses while delivering the same quality of work that’s been expected from us.
Writing and SEO
Writing content for ourselves and our clients is our core competency. We decided to focus on content creation in 2014 and that’s not changing. In fact, you’ll be reading a lot more fact and data supported opinion on our company blog. We’re going to show you more of our personality. If anything slightly changes, it would be our approach to onsite SEO. Our newest team member, Shannon Henrici, has been called on to keep us current on the changing landscape of SEO.
Teamwork and Recruiting
I love our team. We’ve grown organically in the past and that’s not changing. We’re all about bringing on vetted friends of current team members. A healthy culture is a top five success factor in my opinion and taking time to patiently hire new team members helps protect our culture. We anticipate Nao Media being a team of 46 employees/contractors by the end of 2019, and my goal is to know the name of every team member (including their nickname(s) and the names of their family members). As for teamwork, our “focus on doing your part and help others when needed” approach is staying the same. My personal goal is to help our systems and processes improve for even better efficiency.
Our Approach to Service
Let’s be honest, the customer’s not always right. BUT! Business owners have the responsibility of providing the best service they can at all times. We’ve always believed in giving our best to our clients and that will remain our approach. If it takes three revisions to get a customer’s blog post draft where it needs to be before publishing, that’s what we’ll do.
It’s a New Year for Strategic Partnerships
We put a ton of focus and effort into forming strong strategic partnerships in the second half of 2014. We’re going to stay on that train. There’s nothing better than executing a high-end barter or referring clients and projects to partners. Getting referrals from partners is always awesome too!
Jesus at the Center
I’m not shy about my belief in Jesus Christ and the role He plays in the Nao Media’s mission. Nothing is changing here. We still pray before meetings. We still tithe to the Church and donate to Christian organizations. The only change is our organization’s strengthened relationship with Christ.
